An ODS file is an OpenDocument spreadsheet from LibreOffice or OpenOffice Calc. Converting to PDF gives a fixed, shareable copy where the cells and numbers look the same for everyone, with no spreadsheet app needed. Upload an .ods and you get a PDF. Files are processed on the server and removed a short time later.

Common use cases

Share figures with anyoneSend numbers as a PDF so they line up on any screen, even without Calc or Excel.
Make a sheet easy to printTurn a wide table into clean pages instead of fighting the print settings.
Send data that isn't easily changedHand over figures as a fixed PDF rather than an editable sheet.
Archive a reportKeep a final sheet in a format that opens the same later.

Good to know

Wide sheets split across pagesA very wide spreadsheet may break onto several pages. Set a print area or fit-to-width first if you want it on one page.
Values, not live formulasThe PDF shows the numbers as they look now; it's a snapshot, so keep the .ods if you need to edit.
Check the resultHidden columns or huge sheets can shift, so open the PDF and make sure nothing important is cut off.
