How do I convert a PDF to Word?
Open the PDF to Word tool, drag your PDF into the upload area (or click to browse), choose the output format (DOCX, DOC or RTF) and click Convert. When processing finishes, your converted file is ready to download — usually within seconds.
Is there a file size limit?
Most tools accept files up to 100 MB. If your file is larger, split it into smaller parts or use one of our compression tools to reduce its size before converting.
Are my files safe, and what happens to them after processing?
Your privacy comes first. Many tools process files entirely within your browser, so they never leave your device. For tools that need server-side processing, your file is sent over an encrypted connection, used only to complete your task, and automatically deleted within 30 minutes. We never inspect, copy or share your files. Contact usif you have any questions.
What should I do if a conversion fails?
Conversions usually fail because the source file is password-protected, corrupted, or uses unsupported fonts. Re-uploading often resolves the issue. If the problem persists, send us the tool name and file type through the contact form and we will look into it.
Do I need an account to use Filuni?
No. Every file tool works without an account. Creating a free account is optional — it lets you keep a history of your tasks, manage your files, and delete them whenever you like.
Is Filuni really free?
Yes. All core tools are free to use, with no usage limits and no watermarks added to your files. Filuni is supported by non-intrusive advertising rather than subscription fees — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Do I need to install any software?
No installation is required. Filuni runs entirely in your web browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. Just open the tool you need and start working.
Which file formats does Filuni support?
Filuni supports a wide range of formats across PDF, Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), images (JPG, PNG, WebP and more), video, audio, and common developer formats such as JSON. Each tool lists the formats it accepts on its own page.
Do the tools process files in my browser?
Many Filuni tools — including most image, encryption, JSON and text utilities — run completely in your browser, with no upload to our servers. Tools that rely on server-side engines, such as some PDF and Office conversions, upload your file temporarily and delete it within 30 minutes.
How do I delete my account and data?
Sign in, open your profile, and choose to delete your account. Your data then enters a 30-day grace period during which signing in again restores it; after that, it is permanently erased. See our Privacy Policy for the full process.
Can I use Filuni for commercial or business work?
Yes. Filuni's tools are free for personal and commercial projects alike, with no restrictions on the files you process.
Is my connection secure?
Yes. All data transferred between your device and Filuni is protected with HTTPS/TLS encryption. Files that require processing are handled on secure servers and removed automatically within 30 minutes.
