Good to know

The thresholds, in shortWCAG asks for 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text at AA; AAA wants 7:1 and 4.5:1. Large means roughly eighteen point, or fourteen point bold.
Contrast is not the whole of accessibilityPassing the ratio helps, but readable type size, clear focus states and not relying on colour alone all matter too.
Large text gets a lower barBigger or bold text is easier to read, so it passes at a lower ratio. Make sure your text really is large before you rely on that.
Test the real coloursCheck the actual foreground and background as they render, including any opacity, not the nominal swatches.
