A mosaic hides parts of an image you'd rather not show, like a face, an address, a card number or a name. Drag over the area and the tool turns it into blurred blocks. It runs in your browser, so the image isn't uploaded.

Common use cases
Hide a face or licence plateBlur out people or vehicles before posting a photo in public.
Cover a card or ID numberPixelate a bank card, document number or barcode so it can't be read.
Redact a name or email in a screenshotBlack out personal details in a chat or form before you share the screen grab.
Blur a logo or backgroundSoften a brand mark or a messy background that you don't want in the shot.
Good to know
Make the blocks big enoughA light blur or small pixels can sometimes be read back. Use coarse, large blocks over anything truly sensitive so nothing shows through.
Pixelation isn't a guaranteed deleteFor genuinely secret data, a light pixelate may not be enough. Cover it with a solid block instead, then open the saved file and confirm the detail is really gone.
Check the whole imageSensitive info often appears more than once, such as in a reflection, a second browser tab or a corner. Scan the full picture before you save.
