Good to know
Pick the right formatCODE128 handles general text and numbers, which suits in-house codes. EAN-13 and UPC are for retail products and expect a set number of digits.
Retail formats are strictEAN and UPC have a fixed digit count and a built-in check digit, so an invalid number won't scan or may be rejected. For your own internal codes, CODE128 is far more forgiving.
Print it clearKeep the barcode large enough with strong contrast. A tiny or low-contrast print often refuses to scan, so test one before running a batch.
