An image is often the wrong size for where it's going: too big for an avatar slot, too small for a banner, or just far more pixels than you actually need. Resizing sets its width and height to the exact dimensions you want, so it fits the spot without you cropping or guessing.
How to resize images?
- 1UploadClick 'Select files' or drag images into the upload area
- 2Set optionsChoose resize mode: by percentage or target pixel width/height
- 3ProcessOptionally adjust output quality and keep aspect ratio
- 4DownloadClick 'Batch processing' and download results when finished
Common use cases
Fit a required sizeMatch the exact pixel size a platform asks for, like a profile photo, thumbnail or banner.
Shrink huge camera pixelsBring a 6000-pixel photo down to a web-friendly size so it loads fast and uploads cleanly.
Make a set matchResize a batch of images to the same dimensions so a gallery or grid lines up.
Hit a layout sizeSet an image to the width a document, slide or template expects.
Good to know
Keep the aspect ratioLeave width and height linked so the picture doesn't stretch. Unlock them only when you deliberately want to squash or stretch it.
Enlarging won't add detailScaling a small image up makes it soft or blocky, because the detail simply isn't there. Shrinking stays sharp; growing doesn't.
By pixels or percentType exact pixel dimensions, or scale by a percentage when you just want it a bit smaller or larger.
