Good to know

Quarter turns or a custom angleUse 90, 180 or 270 to fix orientation. Use a small custom angle, just a few degrees, to straighten a tilt.
An odd angle trims the cornersRotating by anything other than a quarter turn leaves blank corners, so the result is cropped or filled to stay rectangular. A straighten usually loses a thin edge.
Right angles stay cleanTurns of 90, 180 or 270 keep the image as-is. An arbitrary angle re-renders the pixels and can soften it a touch.
