Q: My PDF is a scan, will it work?

Only if the scan already contains real text from OCR. A plain scanned image has no text to extract, so it converts to a picture rather than editable words.

Q: Will the layout be exactly the same?

Usually close, but not always pixel-perfect. Simple documents convert cleanly; complex columns and tables may need a little tidying.

Q: Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows or Mac, with nothing to install.

Q: What happens to my file?

It's used only to convert the document and is deleted shortly after. We don't share it, and the Word file is yours to download.
