Business days skip weekendsThe business-day count leaves out Saturdays and Sundays. It does not know your local public holidays, so subtract those yourself.
Decide if both ends countWhether the start and end dates are both included changes the total by a day. Be clear which you need for the context.
Months are unevenA gap of one month is not always 30 days, so the month figure follows the calendar rather than a fixed length.
Order does not change the countSwapping start and end gives the same number of days; the sign just tells you the direction.
