Good to know
Mean and median can disagreeOne extreme value drags the mean but barely moves the median. When they differ a lot, the median often describes the typical case better.
Sample or population varianceVariance and standard deviation are computed differently for a sample than for a whole population. Know which your data is, or the figure will be slightly off.
Mode can be none or manyA set can have no repeated value, or several tied as most common. That is not an error; some data simply has no single mode.
